This Thursday, experience more Small-Tones than ever.

This Thursday, experience more Small-Tones than ever.

This week I play my last two band shows of the year and the boys are sounding SO GOOD.

Friday night's show in Red Deer is SOLD OUT (!) but there are still tickets left for Thursday right here in Edmonton. Advance tickets are $20 and this show is all-ages. That means some friends with kids are making it out and I'm so glad.

Last night was our final practice and the addition of a fourth Small-Tone (Nathan Carroll) for our Edmonton gig has really added atmosphere, ambiance and just plain fun to the mix. We'll be playing some new songs from my upcoming record along with some favourites like you've never heard them live.

Honestly I have a big smile on my face just thinking about it. I'm honoured to play with Tim LaRiviere on bass, Matt Grier on drums and for the first time, Nathan Carroll on keys and guitar.

All that and TWO great acts from Red Deer – The Fallow Years and Ryan Carnduff (who's cooking up a surprise with me).

Hope to see you Thursday or elsewhere real soon.

In dumb hope,

(Dave) Von Bieker

PS. DUMB HOPE will be available for pre-order at Thursday's gig, and here at Backstage soon after - it's coming!
