Show Announcements for January 2020

2020 has somehow arrived and with a new decade come new opportunities.

Here are the places I’m performing this month.

January 23 – The Red Hart, Red Deer

The Red Hart is a fantastic brewery and taproom owned by some fine folks. I’m happy to return to this cozy, inviting room that feels like the type of old English pub built for pipe smoking.

This time, I’m opening for Vancouver’s Joshua Hyslop! The show starts at 7.

Tickets are $15 in advance and available online.

January 24 – Sweet Sounds at The Art of Cake

Speaking of fine folks, The Art of Cake has become one of my favourite places to place by the sheer power of their friendliness. The sweets help, too.

I return for my first free Friday evening double-set here on January 24 at 7 PM. Art of Cake is all ages and a great space for the whole family.

February 1 – The Flying Canoe Volant

Close enough to January to mention here, the Flying Canoe festival takes over La Citè Francophone, Mill Creek Ravine and more with storytelling, arts, frozen canoe races and more.

My 8 PM slot falls right in the middle of a great local Saturday night lineup.
