Poem 27
Time for another found poem. This one taken from an article from NASA, for kids, about black holes. You can read that article here.
A black hole is a place
where gravity pulls so much that
even light can not get out
When a star is dying
people are invisible
Black holes can be as small as
just one atom
the mass of a large mountain
“stellar”
“supermassive”
masses that are more than 1 million suns
Every large galaxy contains a black hole center
Black holes–
formed when the universe began
Black holes–
made when a star falls in upon itself
Stars–
orbiting a black hole
not seen with human eyes
The sun will never turn into a black hole
The sun is not a big enough star
to answer questions about the universe
